Variety New Zealand was launched in 1989. Since that time, more than $8 million has been raised and distributed to assist local children disadvantaged by disability or circumstance.
Variety has its roots in the entertainment industry and is a world-wide network established in Pittsburgh, USA in 1928. All funds raised in New Zealand stay in New Zealand.

Variety Bash 2008
Each year Bashers take to the road in a crazy convoy of unique vehicles in support of Variety. Travelling all over NZ, Bash teams raise money for local children in need and bring magic and fun to the communities that they visit.
